A story about a broken family, coming face to face after 15 long years, and eventually overcoming their differences to find their way to each other. After their separation, Pallavi and Nikhil have raised their kids by themselves, alone. But despite their best efforts, they haven’t managed to overcome the lack of the other parent in the kids' life. What happens when the broken units meet each other for the 1st time after 15 years? His mother decides to lend a hand, does some work at a construction site, and tragically passes away. Sona completes her education and falls in love with a wealthy young man named Raju. When Kaalu finds out, he goes to Raju's dad, who is none other than Kaalu's employer, who refuses to accept Sona as his daughter-in-law, but subsequently changes his mind, apologizes to Kaalu and both decide on an early marriage. While Kaalu is grateful that Sona's future in-laws are not taking any dowry, he decides to marry off his only sister in style and give a big party. The question remains - where will Kaalu get the money to host this reception?

The show is about two childhood friends who get separated and after seven years they met, Nandini and Mauli. Mauli and Kunal have been married for three years and are very much in love with each other. Kunal is a pediatrician. Mauli is a gynecologist. They support each other through everything and are very close. On the other hand, Nandini and Rajdeep have been married for seven years. Nandini is a victim of domestic violence. Rajdeep treats Nandini badly and doesn't leave any chance to abuse her, physically and mentally. Mauli and Kunal take Nandini to their home, to stay with them. But Kunal and Nandini will unexpectedly develop some feelings which will cause a lot of confusion and decision to hide that and avoid their love for each other.

Prem Kapoor is a businessman who lives in a small town with his wife, Bhavna, who is a Judge, and two children, Sunil and Babli. One Sunday, he gets a visitor by the name of Prakash Dutt, who has brought a letter from a woman named Sneh who lives in Bombay, has known Prem for the last seven years, and wants to urgently meet with him. Prem departs for Bombay, meets with Sneh and finds out that he is the father of a seven year old boy, Bittu, who is Sneh's son, as a result of intimacy shared between them over seven years ago. Sneh has been diagnosed with cancer and is not expected to live long, she wants Bittu to be taken care of, and Prem agrees to do so. He takes Bittu home with him, while Sneh goes to America for treatment. It is here that Prem will be confronted by Bhavna on one hand, his children on the other, and a blackmailer who wants a huge sum of money to keep the truth about Sneh and Prem's affair from Bhavna and the children.

Bandhan Saat Janamon Ka is an Indian television series which premiered on Colors on July 21, 2008. The story is of an intelligent, mature, simple girl who gets married to be caught up dowry worries. First of all, she completes her dream marriage between her and Parth, when the Gupta family confront the Agarwal family about arranging 2.5 million for the release of their son Parth who was allegedly in prison. Unfortunately, in greed of money the Gupta family consistently started to harass Trilok Agarwal, to arrange for the 2.5 million. Finally at his limit, he died of an asthma attack after Shobhna had gone over a daily row over spending and doling out costs.

Beena, a young village girl and Nirmal love each other. When Suresh decides to create rift between them, things begin to challenge both Beena and Nirmal.

Mina narrates the story to the audience. She is no more and her husband stays with their son in Singapore. They have no contact with her family as she had married against her family's wish.
